Our core service area covers Fannin County, Grayson County, Collin County, Denton County, and Southern Oklahoma. Most locations within this range have no travel surcharge. Distant ranches beyond 50 miles may have modest travel fees disclosed upfront.
Pricing varies based on species, severity, location complexity, and required repairs. Simple single-animal removals may start around $200-400. Complex multi-point exclusions, large-scale hog operations, or commercial projects require custom quotes. We always provide transparent estimates before beginning any work—no hidden fees, no surprise charges.
Initial phone consultations are free. On-site inspections are typically $75-150 depending on distance and complexity, but this fee is fully credited toward the cost of any recommended work if you choose to proceed.
Same-day and next-day appointments are standard throughout our service area. Emergency situations (animal in living space, venomous snake, etc.) receive priority same-day dispatch. Non-urgent scheduling typically books within 2-3 business days.
For larger projects (whole-property exclusion packages, multi-species infestations, ranch-scale programs), we can discuss flexible payment arrangements. Standard residential jobs are due upon completion unless otherwise arranged in writing beforehand.
Feral hogs are active year-round in North Texas, but peak activity occurs fall through spring when natural food sources (acorns, crops) are abundant. Summer months see reduced daytime activity but continued night damage. We trap effectively in all seasons.
Hunting removes individual animals but rarely eliminates the problem because sounders (family groups) simply repopulate from surrounding areas. Our corral trapping captures entire groups simultaneously, providing lasting population reduction that hunting alone cannot match.
Raccoons are incredibly strong and dexterous. They enter through: damaged soffit panels, loose vent screens, gaps where rooflines meet walls, uncapped chimneys, and holes they chew themselves (their teeth can tear through shingles, wood, and some metals). Our inspection finds every vulnerability.
Raccoons generally avoid confrontation, but cornered mothers protecting babies or rabid individuals may attack pets. Keep pets away from suspected den areas and never let dogs 'tree' a raccoon—the animal will fight defensively when cornered.
Texas restricts bat exclusion during maternity season (approximately June 1 - August 15) because flightless baby bats would be trapped inside and die. This creates odor, health hazards, and potential legal issues. We schedule exclusion outside this window or plan carefully around colony status.
Yes. Accumulated bat guano supports Histoplasma capsulatum fungus. When disturbed, spores become airborne and inhaling them causes histoplasmosis—a potentially serious respiratory illness affecting lungs. Professional HEPA-filtered removal and sanitization is essential for safety.
In North Texas, venomous snakes include: copperheads (hourglass brown bands, triangular head), cottonmouths/water moccasins (dark, thick body, found near water), western diamondback rattlesnakes (diamond pattern, rattles), and western pygmy rattlesnakes (small, gray, tiny rattles). When in doubt, assume it's venomous and call us.
We strongly advise against killing snakes. Many non-venomous species provide free pest control (eating rodents, insects). Even venomous snakes rarely bite unless threatened. Let us identify and relocate the animal safely instead of risking a bite yourself.
